I am Stefania Schiavone, an Italian entrepreneur and author based in Asunción and the Founder & CEO of Schiavone International EAS. I create connections between people, companies and opportunities in Paraguay, Italy and the United States, combining knowledge of the territory, international communication and the building of professional relationships.
Background
I chose to look at two worlds up close
I live and work in Asunción. I did not arrive on a temporary assignment but to build something, and that changes completely how you come to know a country and the people who live in it.
My work grew out of a simple observation. Many Italian companies look at Paraguay with interest but without reliable references; many Paraguayan organisations look for European and US counterparts without knowing where to start. What is almost always missing in between is the same thing: someone who genuinely knows both sides and can get people talking.
That is the role I chose. I do not sell shortcuts or promises of returns: I work with verified information, relationships cared for over time, and respect for the context people are moving in.

Founded by Stefania Schiavone, its Founder & CEO, the company focuses on building strategic connections between Paraguay, Italy, the United States and international markets.

Clarity
I say what can be documented and what cannot. Uncertain information is presented as uncertain.
Confidentiality
Projects, names and documents stay confidential. It is the minimum condition for working with real relationships.
Cultural sensitivity
Timing, form and language differ between Asunción, Milan and Miami. Respecting that is part of the result.
Continuity
A professional relationship is built after the first meeting, not during it. I stay present.
Languages and contexts
Italian, Spanish and English as working tools
I work in the three languages my counterparts move in. It is not only a matter of translating: it means recognising that a proposal written for an Italian company has to be reframed to be convincing in Asunción, and the other way round.
Editorial projects
Telling in order to make known
Alongside my professional work I edit two editorial sections: “Paraguay Business”, on economy, companies and strategic sectors, and “Paraguay Stories”, on culture, places and everyday life. It is the most honest way I know to introduce a country: to show it.
