Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to a professional enquiry, including those sent from the “Business in Paraguay” and “Paraguay to the world” pages, and contacting the data subject again at the email address or WhatsApp number provided: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject and the legitimate interest in replying to a message received.
- Handling requests about the real estate projects, contacting the people who sent them, providing preliminary commercial information and facilitating any further discussions with the operators responsible for the projects: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject, where applicable.
- Sending updates about the editorial project and professional activities: the legal basis is consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
- Keeping the site secure and functioning, including measures against automated form submissions: the legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest.
How data is stored
Data submitted through the forms is processed by the hosting and form-handling provider, which acts as a processor and stores the data on its own infrastructure.
Each enquiry sent through the forms is forwarded as a notification to the professional email address shown on this page. Enquiries are not published on the site and are not used to send newsletters: signing up for updates happens only through the dedicated form.
Data from professional and real estate enquiries is kept for as long as needed to reply and to handle any follow-up contact the data subject asks for. If the enquiry leads to a professional or commercial relationship, the data is kept for the duration of that relationship and, once it ends, only for the period required by legal obligations or needed to protect the controller’s rights. If the enquiry is not followed up, the data is deleted once it is no longer needed for those purposes; you can in any case ask for it to be deleted at any time.
Updates signup data is kept until consent is withdrawn.
Disclosure and transfers
Data may be processed by the technical providers required to deliver the service (hosting, form handling, email delivery), for that purpose only.
Real estate requests are received and initially handled by Schiavone International EAS. The data is not passed automatically to Grupo Petra when the form is submitted.
Where Grupo Petra needs to be involved for further commercial discussions, property availability, viewings, negotiations or any purchase, Schiavone International EAS may share the data strictly necessary, after informing the data subject appropriately and where a valid legal basis exists.
Data is not sold to third parties.
Some technical providers may process data outside the country where the data subject is located, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer takes place in accordance with the law applicable to international data transfers. For information about the providers involved, write to the address shown on this page.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing, and to receive it in a structured format. You may also withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
To exercise these rights, write to stefania.schiavone.consulting@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Children
The services described on this site are aimed at companies, organisations and professionals. The forms are not intended for anyone under sixteen and no data relating to children is requested.
